What is the SNS 24 Desk?

The SNS 24 Desk is a physical space created with the aim of helping citizens to access digital and telehealth services between the Citizen and NHS health professionals, through the creation of a National Network of existing local structures of trust and proximity.

What is the purpose of these spaces?

The objective of these spaces is to facilitate and promote access to digital and telehealth services between citizens and health professionals of the National Health Service (SNS), through the creation of conditions of greater proximity and reduction of barriers in dealing with technical means or even due to their non-existence.

What are the digital services provided by the SNS 24 Desk?

The services available at the SNS 24 Desk are:

How can I access the SNS 24 Desk?

There are two different ways to access the SNS 24 Desk. Through:

  • Easy access

The services performed through the facilitated access are always carried out by the user with the support of the employee of the SNS 24 Desk. In this modality, you can access the services through the personal area of the SNS 24 and/or SNS 24 portal via telephone or website. In this case, it will be the user who authenticates at the personal area of the SNS 24 portal or contacting SNS 24 by phone or accessing the website.

  • Mediated access

In the mediated access modality, the services are carried out by the employee of the SNS 24 Desk on behalf of the user, through CSR | Administrative Area. To do this, the employee will need to authenticate in this area.

What is the difference between facilitated and mediated access?

Facilitated access aims to give citizens the conditions and support to be able to access digital and telehealth services so that they can "do it yourself".

Mediated access, on the other hand, happens when the citizen does not have the necessary conditions to make the requests he needs and, therefore, allows himself to be represented by a professional at the counter in a "we do it for you" perspective.

To mediate the services indicated above, the employee of the SNS 24 Desk must:

  • have a valid user in CSR | Administrative Area
  • Have a mobile phone

The SNS 24 Counter must have:

  • computer with camera, sound system and with Google Chrome installed
  • 20 MB minimum bandwidth

How can I activate the digital mobile key?

How can I register in the personal area of the SNS 24 portal?

It is not necessary to register to access your personal area of the SNS 24 portal. Just on the homepage of the portal, click on "Login", and you will be redirected to the options on how you want to access the personal area of the SNS 24 portal:

  • Digital Mobile Key (CMD) or
  • Citizen's Card (CC) or
  • Health User Number
