The dentist's voucher is a document that allows free access to oral diagnosis and preventive and curative treatments to pregnant women followed by the National Health Service.
This project is part of the National Program for the Promotion of Oral Health of the Ministry of Health, with the objective of responding to oral problems that may occur due to hormonal changes that occur in the woman's body during pregnancy.
How can I access the dentist's check?
To access the dentist's voucher you must first go to the Health Centre. The family doctor may decide to refer you to Oral Health and, in this case, will provide you with your first dental check.
Can I choose a dentist?
yes. You can choose the dentist who is on the list of adherents.
Can I change dentists between appointments?
No. The dentist remains during pregnancy.
How many dental checks am I entitled to?
You may be entitled to three dental vouchers if the dentist deems it necessary to carry out several treatments, according to the plan established at the first appointment.

What is the validity of the dentist's check for pregnant women?
The dentist's check is valid up to 60 days after the date of delivery.

Yes, dental checks can be cancelled in the following situations:

- for missing two appointments without notice
