What Are Dental Checks?

Dental vouchers are guides that give you access to a range of dental care. It covers several areas such as prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

Who is covered?

The populations covered by dental vouchers are:

  • pregnant women followed in the National Health Service
  • beneficiaries of the Solidarity Supplement
  • children and young people up to the age of 18, regardless of the school or institution they attend
  • clients with HIV/AIDS infection
  • patients with a lesion suspected of oral cancer

Young people aged 4, 7, 10 and 13 can access the oral hygiene consultation.

Do dental checks expire?

yes. Dental cheques have an expiry date printed on the sheet itself, and this date is the deadline for the use of all cheques to which you may be entitled.
